Transnational Project Meeting of the XXIAdults Erasmus+ Project in Setúbal, Portugal On 21 May 2026, partners of the XXIAdults Erasmus+ Project gathered in Setúbal, Portugal, for a productive Transnational Project Meeting (TPM). During the meeting, partners reviewed and discussed key aspects of the project's progress, including:  Development and functionality of the project platform  The implementation plan and upcoming activities  Preparation and organization of pilot testing activities  Dissemination strategies and outreach efforts The discussions were constructive and helped strengthen collaboration among partners, ensuring the successful advancement of the project objectives. A special thank you goes to our Portuguese hosts for their excellent organization and the warm hospitality they provided throughout the meeting. Their welcoming atmosphere contributed greatly to the success of the event and fostered valuable exchanges among all participants. We look forward to the next steps of the XXIAdults project and to continuing our joint efforts in promoting innovation and excellence in adult education across Europe.

Making E-Waste Visible Through Innovation Electronic waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the world, yet many people remain unaware of the environmental impact of the devices and electronic items they use every day. The OSCAR project is addressing this challenge by combining education, digital innovation, and Augmented Reality (AR) to help learners better understand the lifecycle of electronic products, the consequences of e-waste, and the importance of responsible consumption and recycling. We are pleased to announce an important milestone in the project's journey. The OSCAR educational materials and AR-based learning resources have now been developed and reviewed by the project partnership, while the OSCAR digital platform has been successfully created and is preparing to enter the testing phase. The upcoming pilot activities will help ensure that the platform provides an engaging and effective learning experience for young people across Europe. Empowering Adult Educators Through Digital Competences In today's rapidly evolving educational landscape, digital competences have become essential for adult educators. From managing online learning environments to creating engaging digital content and fostering meaningful collaboration, educators need a diverse set of skills to support learners effectively. Digital transformation is not only about using technology—it is about using it confidently, critically, and creatively to enhance learning experiences that meet the needs of modern learners. Through the HYBREDU project, partners have been working together to develop practical educational resources that support adult educators in strengthening their digital competences and adopting innovative approaches for hybrid learning. The materials are aligned with the European Digital Competence Framework (DigComp) and aim to provide educators with accessible tools and guidance for today's digital learning environments. The last meeting of partners of the XXI Adults project in beautiful Setúbal, Portugal is behind us! ✨ These were incredibly inspiring days full of conversations, sharing experiences and planning the next project activities together 💙 During TPM, we summarized the results of our collaboration so far and moved on to the next stage of the project - preparing the Implementation Plan. e-LIFE Training (English version and translations) We are excited to share that the e-LIFE Training has now been released and translated in all partner languages. The training was created within the Erasmus+ “e-LIFE” project to support senior adults living in rural areas in developing digital skills through storytelling, creativity, and local heritage promotion. Participants will learn how to:  Use digital tools with confidence.  Create simple videos and digital content.  Share traditions, memories, gastronomy, and local stories.  Stay connected and engaged in their communities. Together, we are helping preserve cultural heritage while building digital confidence and social inclusion across Europe!

Final Booklet of the “Living History” Project Published The final booklet of the Living History project is now available online. This publication collects and systematizes the journey carried out within the framework of the project, presenting methodologies, activities, results, and the main outputs developed during its implementation. The Living History project was designed to promote the enhancement of historical memory and local cultural heritage through participatory processes, innovative educational tools, and the active involvement of adults, organizations, and local communities. This is an Erasmus+ international cooperation project involving Associazione InCo – Molfetta (Italy), the Municipality d'Altea (Spain), and E-School Educational Group in Karditsa (Greece). The project was also supported by local partners such as the “Infopoint” of Molfetta, “Auser” Molfetta, and the adult education institute “Bellaguarda” in Altea. The booklet represents a significant project result and provides a comprehensive overview of the activities implemented, with particular focus on: project objectives and methodological framework; learning and mobility experiences; tools and practices developed throughout the project; results, impacts, and opportunities for replicability. The publication is intended as a useful resource for third-sector organizations, adult educators, institutions, and stakeholders interested in topics such as non-formal education, active citizenship, civic participation, and cultural heritage enhancement. We want to thank especially the students of the San Jose de Medina del Campo school for their incredible involvement, creativity and innovative thinking throughout the activities of the OSCAR project. 👏♻️ So far, we’ve compiled more than 30 ideas on ecological awareness and e-waste from participants across Spain, which shows that young people are prepared to become active agents of change towards a more sustainable future. 🌍✨ Right now, we are in the middle of the evaluation process together with our experts and partners, thoroughly reviewing all the ideas and projects presented. The level of creativity, motivation, and environmental awareness has been truly impressive! 🏆 The winning participant will have the opportunity to present their idea during the International Final Conference in Estonia, where young people from different countries will come together to share solutions, experiences and inspiration related to sustainability and e-waste reduction. 🇪🇪🌿 Thank you to everyone who has participated and continues to spread awareness about responsible e-waste management and sustainable options.
