We are delighted to announce that our Erasmus+ project, BluSustAIn – Developing VET Skills for Blue Economy SMEs through AI for Sustainability (2026-1-ES01-KA220-VET-000452101), has been officially approved for funding! 🎉
As the Blue Economy embraces digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is creating new opportunities to improve sustainability, efficiency, and innovation. However, many vocational learners, professionals, and SMEs still lack the skills needed to harness AI responsibly and effectively. BluSustAIn aims to bridge this gap by equipping the current and future workforce with practical AI competences that support greener and more sustainable Blue Economy sectors.
Over the next 30 months, organisations from Spain, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Lithuania, and Bulgaria will work together to develop a micro-credential-based VET curriculum on AI for Sustainability in the Blue Economy, along with innovative digital learning resources and an open Digital Training Hub to support vocational education and lifelong learning.
